First of Two, Out of Town Trips

Today I am leaving for the WB Ranch in Whitney, TX for a three day "business retreat" with my fellow Twogether in Texas co-workers. We will be learning a new curriculum to teach in our marriage education classes.

The WB Ranch has several fun activities that we plan to work into our training schedule. We will go on an Exotic Animal Watch, Build Model Rockets, participate in a Culinary Challenge and a Initiative Challenge as well as learn about a marriage curriculum called "Couple Check Up!"

I will be away from the family until Friday evening! I am going to miss them, but I am sure I will have fun with the team.

See you Saturday sometime!

Taking a Day Off for God! -- A Sunday Shout Out!

I would like to salute at companies who take Sunday's off to allow their employees to worship the God they serve!

A Shout Out goes to Chick-fil-A: This fast food chain not only has the best chicken in town (sorry KFC) but they also support healthy marriage programs for their employees. It may be slightly more expensive to eat here with the family, but to help support a great company like this is worth it. Plus, they have have great Cow Calendars with money saving coupons inside.

A Shout Out goes to Roly Poly. This fast food chain serves great "wrap" sandwiches. They are affordable and very delicious.

A Shout Out goes to Hobby Lobby. This craft store chain, has many things to offer to those with the creative bug.

There are other stores out there: If you know of one let me know and I will give them a Sunday Shout Out as well.

Before I continue the Shout Outs to companies, I would like to give a Shout Out to the movie Fireproof. Despite opening on limited screens nation wide it has been a, "Surprise Hit, finishing as a Top 10 Movie for the past two weeks.

My last Shout Outs of the day go out to the Christian Books Stores; such as LifeWay, Family Christian Stores, The Scroll, and others, who provide Bibles, Christian books & music, and other Christian merchandise for believers everywhere.

If you know of other stores who close on Sunday's to honor God, let me know. I would love to give them a Shout Out as well!
